WOMEN HIGHLIGHT THEIR FEARS IN JOINING POLITICS

In a bid to strengthen women's participation in leadership and civic processes, the Uganda Women's Network (UWONET) have hosted a National Women Leaders’ Summit to navigate the progress of women in the civic space.

The event held in Kampala, fostered dialogue on the progress made, challenges faced, and opportunities available for women leaders. The national women leaders’ summit intended to promote inclusivity while among others advocating for policy reforms ensuring women's participation in executive boards.
