UGANDA INTRODUCES MALARIA VACCINE, VACCINATION TO START IN APRIL

Uganda has taken a major step in the fight against malaria. Starting this April, the malaria vaccine will be introduced for children aged 6 to 11 months.

The vaccine will require four doses to provide full protection. It will be included as part of the routine immunization program, with the goal of ending malaria by 2030. This initiative comes in response to the fact that approximately 10 children die every day from malaria, and it aims to protect future generations from this deadly disease.
