UEGCL PARTNERS WITH BUJAGAALI FOR EXCHANGE PROGRAM

The Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited (UEGCL) has partnered with Bujagali Energy Limited to establish an exchange program aimed at improving maintenance works in the energy generation sector. 

This collaboration is a strategic move to enhance efficiency and operational performance. UEGCL recently visited the Bujagali Power Plant for benchmarking, where they observed best practices in maintenance and safety management. 

The partnership focuses on knowledge-sharing, particularly in the areas of safety management and ensuring the reliable generation of power.By interacting with Bujagali Energy Limited, UEGCL aims to adopt innovative approaches to enhance the reliability of power generation while addressing maintenance challenges. 

This exchange program is expected to improve operational standards, ensuring the efficient and continuous delivery of energy. Ultimately, the collaboration is beneficial not only for the two companies but also for Uganda's broader energy sector, contributing to long-term sustainable power generation.
